The meeting was called to order at 5:30 p.m.

The purpose of this meeting was to conduct an interview with Community Preservation Associates. The Master Plan Committee and consultants all introduced themselves and gave a brief description of their background.

CPA reviewed the different elements of the Master Plan through a power point presentation and gave a brief description and/or suggestions on different avenues to address each element.

The consultant stated that community participation is important and would mold how the plan proceeded. . CPW stated that they would attend a minimum of one meeting a month and conduct three Town wide public forum. J. Giotta asked if anyone had a financial background. B. Barber stated that he had created numerous fiscal plans but Master Plans typically do not get that detailed. CPW had completed Master Plans in Tyngsboro, Canton and Millbury, individual members had also worked together on other projects.

J. Haran asked if they had ever utilized Viz Software, they replied that they had not

The Committee thanked the consultant for attending the meeting and stated that they would be in touch within a few weeks.

The Committee discussed the interview and the majority stated that they felt a quality project would be completed. It was obvious that they were comfortable working together as a group.

The meeting was adjourned at 7:30 p.m.
